  • Sickness altitude is a very serious issue for those who wants to climb up. This short video explained by a doc how it happens and the risks
  • Videos of dead bodies on Everest. Dont blame me for clicking ! you are warned ! Here
  • Nowadays, there are crazy people running a marathon by the Everest every year at 5000m of altitude. Sick! Here
  • Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary remained good friends all their life. Edmund Hillary had developped a lof of projects in the Himalayas and Norgay became the director of a moutaineering Institute in Darjeeling. One of his son climbed the Everest as well. A link to the Royal Geographical Society with a lot of informations and pictures about the expedition and the guys

  • Links to Junko Tabei, the insane Reinhold Messner and some other crazy people !
  • How dirty is Everest? SERIOUS TOPIC here
  • Nepal has been closed for many centuries and only few travellers or merchands had been able to enter this little kingdom. Info over here about it and Nepal in general
  • Chinese have built a highway from the Tibetan side to reach their Everest base camp situated at 5200m. The best part of it is its name : the friendship highway (knowing that China have invaded Tibet, killed monks, burned 6000 temples and is definitely killing their culture). Recently, chinese gouverenement told the tibetans that they cant reincarnate without their permission. WTF!?
